Description
The VFW Post 5860 brings to you the chance to learn about the significance and the purpose of FLAG DAY! The VFW Post 5860 will host its first annual observance for Flag Day on the second Sunday in June. The program includes a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, patriotic music including the singing of the National Anthem, and a ceremonial flag retirement. Tables will be set up for a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history and importance of our Nation's flags. Refreshments will be available and boxes for worn flags will be set out.
