I grew up in MN and graduated from Concordia with a Registered Nurse, BAN degree in 2007. My husband and I moved to Spearfish in 2015. We have a son and daughter, two one dog and one cat. We love the outdoors and enjoy staying active. I love to cook and try new foods, as well as read and travel.
After years of seeing "sick" patients continue to struggle, along with a health diagnosis of my own, I developed a deep desire to help patients GET well and STAY well. In 2022, I completed a health coaching certification from IIN. I am passionate about educating others about the importance of nutrition and exercise.
In March 2024, I also became certified as a Personal Trainer so I can work one on one with clients to help them get stronger, decrease pain, lose weight, gain better balance, and prevent disease and injuries. I also offer small group fitness at my office.
