"The Spearfish High School Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club would like to invite you to a community event held at the Spearfish Senior Center on Dec. 12th. The event will last from 2:15pm-3:15pm. Medical staff and aspiring high school students will be offering free vital sign measurements such as blood pressure and blood sugar checks, oxygen saturations, and temperatures, to anyone who would like to swing by. Our goal with this is connect with the Spearfish community, promote community wellness, and provide a valuable learning experience for high school students interested in pursuing healthcare. The HOSA club is a student led organization that was established to encourage and prepare the future healthcare workers of America. We would love for you to join us for a short, low pressure healthcare check-up, and a friendly conversation…and maybe some Christmas treats. Our students would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet more of our community, while getting to enhance their medical skills."
