"Summer of Encore Entrepreneurship"
Hosted by the Small Business Administration South Dakota District Office and AARP
Who should attend?
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and AARP are once again partnering to host a "Summer of Encore Entrepreneurship" educational event for older Americans who want to start or expand small businesses. With one in four individuals ages 44 to 70 interested in becoming entrepreneurs, and 63 percent of Americans planning to work during retirement, small business ownership is a good option.
From starting a small business to expanding an existing business, the SBA has programs available to help your business succeed. Participants will also learn about SBA's Resource Partners. Representatives from the SBA, SD CEO (the Women's Business Center for South Dakota) and the Rapid City Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will be present to discuss the services they offer.
