Description

The Matthews, in partnership with The Level Wine Bar, is hosting a 1920’s themed speakeasy night, as part of The Big Read Spearfish programming for March.  This event will take place at The Level Wine Bar, 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 31. The Level is located at 604 N. Main St. in Spearfish.  It’s on the corner of Hudson and Main. This is a free event.

Those interested in attending must first find the password which will be posted on event posters and The Matthews Opera House website and social media. Period appropriate clothing is encouraged as awards will be given for best costumes.

LIVE MUSIC 
The Darning Hearts, a duo out of Rapid City, will be performing their unique mix of Appalachian, 1920s and 30s swing music during the event.
