The Art Gallery on the first floor will be celebrating the Spearfish Christmas Stroll from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7. Kids and adults alike can share their Christmas wishes with Santa from 1-4 p.m. Santa will be on hand in the afternoon to meet and listen to children’s Christmas wishes in the opera house lobby. Hot cider and candy canes will be on hand. Patrons are encouraged to bring their cameras.
In the art gallery from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. families are welcome to come to the Santa Craft Shop and take part in the fun of creating holiday crafts.
The next event at The Matthews is the annual Holiday Piano Duets, noon-1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 11. This event is free and open to the public. For additional information or to learn about upcoming events, visit www.matthewsopera.com.
