Deadwood has been known as South Dakota’s playground since the state was founded in 1889. This presentation, with author Michael Trump, will touch upon the numerous attempts to rid the community of vice, culminating with the remarkable 1980 brothel raid that brought national attention to Deadwood and its notorious Bad Lands.

Subsequently, he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree. Mr. Trump currently serves as the Senior Accreditation Officer and Academic Regulatory Counsel at National American University. He makes his home with his wife and daughter in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
