Wharf Resources, the largest operating gold mine in the Black Hills, is opening its doors to the public. Throughout the afternoon of Sept. 23, 2016, from 3.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., the company will host an open house at the mine site for community members of the Black Hills. The open house will take place onsite at Wharf Resources, 10928 Wharf Rd., Lead, SD 57743. The event is free and open to the public.
