Grief Recovery in the Pandemic with Margie Neugebauer, MA, LPC, GRMS
Grief is a normal and natural reaction to the more than 43 different kinds of losses we may experience. In this pandemic we may have lost family members to death, jobs and careers were affected, relationships might have fractured, financial losses may have been incurred, faith and trust might have been interrupted, schools, staff, and students were impacted. In this presentation, grief, loss, stress, anxiety, and depression will be addressed in an informal and interactive manner. We will address the different losses, myths about grief, STERBS, useful and appropriate ways to cope, brain health strategies, and recovery components, it. Apologies, forgiveness, acknowledgements, and significant emotional statements.
"Unresolved grief is cumulative and cumulatively negative."
