June 14th the Spearfish VFW Post 5860, the Girl Scouts of America and the Spearfish Honor Guard will be paying our respects to our country's flag with a flag retirement ceremony.
The ceremony will start at 7:00p.m. with a barbeque of burgers and hot dogs, chips beans and root beer floats for a free will offering. 
Following the meal at dusk the flag will be lowered from the post flag pole and retired with all due respect. 
Patriot music will be played throughout the ceremony.
