Hills Horizon Community Garden (located at the end of E. Elgin St in Spearfish)
Come out to the Hills Horizon Community Garden (located at the end of E. Elgin St in Spearfish) on Sunday, August 28 between 2-4 p.m. to enjoy ice cream from Leones' Creamery, listen to live music from The Max Temple Band, play games, and learn about where and how you can access local food! Ice cream is free for the first 150 people!
Spearfish Local is a Black Hills State University initiative that brings together local producers, distributors, purchasers, and consumers of local food and other locally-sourced products. The goal of Spearfish Local is to grow support of the local economy and to work together to achieve greater things than we could as separate organizations.
