Description
Katia, an ambitious video game designer, and her best friend Trent are an unstoppable duo in the massive multiplayer online role-playing game, SpearLight. After a humiliating falling-out, Trent gets together a pack of internet trolls to turn against Katia in a real-life battle. Comedic, emotional, and timely, the award-winning play “Non-Player Character” is a bold exploration of the gaming world, addressing gamergate, sexism, social-justice, and harassment that happens with playing these games.
