Author Talks continue at the Matthews Opera House on Tuesday, May 2 at 12:30 with Geri Mendoza Gutwein, Ph.D. Mendoza is a poet, educator, lecturer, and Pushcart nominee. Her erasure poem “Dakota 38,” dealt with the 38 Dakota men who were sentenced to death in Makato, MN, and was on exhibit at Birdcage Bookstore in Rapid City.
