DESCRIPTION:The Story behind Brule'-New Solo Concert Series Paul LaRoche\, founder and composer of the legendary award-winning Native American music group Brul \, will present the first of a new tour named "The story behind Brul " revealing the music and stories behind the making of Brul . This first-time new tour format will be presented on Saturday\, March 25\, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Historic Homestake Opera House (HHOH) located at 313 West Main Street\, Lead. Paul will be performing with full concert sound on piano\, acoustic guitar and accordion\, featuring the songwriter's arrangements from the Brul  catalog as well as music from Paul's music career years before Brul \, allowing the audience to share in highlights of Paul's lifelong musical journey. Following 22 years of performances that developed into a large concert format including as many as 6 musicians\,10 traditional dancers\, concert sound\, lighting\, and technical staff\, Brul  has now created this new intimate concert. This memorable intimate performance will lift the spirit and touch the heartstrings as Brul 's LaRoche recounts the experiences that became the inspiration behind the Nations #1 American Indian Music and Dance group (pioneering one of the last musical frontiers).. Paul will present this new concert format in venues including schools\, universities\, performing art theaters and many of the standard seasonal venues of the past. Smaller venues allow Paul to reach many new communities and their large rural fan base. Admission is $20 for adults\, $15 HHOH members\, and $10 for students 17 and younger\, and free to ages 6 and younger. The ticket booth opens one hour prior to show time. Seats are not reserved\; first-come\, first served. The HHOH seats 495.
