SUMMARY:The Lark and the Loon at Spearfish Creek Wine Bar
DESCRIPTION:The Lark and the Loon return to Spearfish with the release of their newest album "Homestead Hands". The duo consists of Jeff Rolfzen and former Spearfish native Rocky Steen-Rolfzen and features a changing set of instruments and styles of Americana and Roots music in the likes of Delta and Piedmont Blues\, early swing and jazz\, country\, and Irish music. \n\n\n\nHaving sent the last year on the road playing on over 40 states and Ireland the two songwriters are excited to bring this new album to the Black Hills. The album features many songs inspired by the Black Hills and nearby Eastern Montana Prairie where Rocky spent much of her childhood as well as songs of their travels together and the energy and ideas of Midwestern and Ozark life. Releasing nationwide on September 4th the album will be made available at the show on both CD and vinyl.
