The Spearfish Restricted Use Site (RUS) will waive fees for residential disposal on these dates.\n\n\n\nThe RUS is located on Camp Comfort Road\, 1 miles north of Interstate 90's Exit 10 off Highway 85.\n\n\n\nItems accepted at the RUS: Trees\, leaves\, grass clippings\, construction materials\, metal\, iron\, appliances\, batteries\, furniture\, carpet and mattresses/box springs.\n\nLawn mowers\, weed eaters and any other gas/diesel powered item needs to be completely drained of all fluids (fuel and oil) before being accepted at the RUS.\n\nTires without rims and appliances which use Freon will be accepted for a fee.\n\n\n\nItems not accepted: Household garbage\, paper\, cardboard\, plastic\, clothing\, asbestos\, chemicals\, treated lumber and hazardous or toxic wastes.\n\nCurbside pickup will be offered during the 2019 Spring Clean-up.
