DESCRIPTION:Join us in congratulating Dave Peters\, Spearfish School Superintendent\, on his upcoming retirement!\n\n \nDave Peters\, Spearfish School Superintendent is retiring after 42 years in public education\, the last 36 of those as a Superintendent of Schools in Richey\, MT   one year\; nine years in Red Lodge\, MT\; ten years in Whitefish\, MT and sixteen years here in Spearfish.  "After retirement\, my wife and I are planning to move back to NW Montana where our children and grandchildren all live" stated Peters. \n\n\n\nUnder Mr. Peters leadership\, accomplishments include updating facilities and making them safer for students and staff\; maintaining the high expectations and level of performance of the staff\; hiring an excellent group of administrative staff to lead all critical areas of our operations. Spearfish also remains among the State leaders in educational technology utilization\, use of Principal and Teacher Effectiveness models\, and participation in professional organizations to maintain that edge and leadership in the field.
