Dr. Lampert is the author of Starring Women: Celebrity\, Patriarchy\, and American Theater\, 1790-1850 (University of Illinois Press\, 2020). The Keynote Address for this year's history conference presented by Dr. Lampert is: "The Dancer Who Caused a Riot: Popular Culture and Celebrity in the Early US."
